Caribbean World will be developed by various dynamic private and public investors. CW will also partner with Global Leading Hotels, Cruise & Airlines Companies, OTA & Tour Operators to create the world’s most successful destinations.
Positioning DR as a prime global tourist destination accelerates its economic growth while promoting education and regional integration with ecotourism leading the SDGs to transition to a sustainable world. We believe that tourism can protect Pedernales’ natural and cultural riches and create economic opportunities for the Dominican Republic and the entire region. Caribbean World is dedicated to minimizing the negative impacts of tourism and maximizing its positive benefits for people, cultures, nature, and wildlife.
Pedernales, Dominican Republic. It is located on an unspoiled peninsula within Jaragua National Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the largest, most biologically diverse protected areas in the Caribbean. The area is a crucial refuge for many endemic animals, plants, and insects, some of which are still unknown to science and native Taino cultural sites. This enchanting tropical paradise is blessed with some of the world’s best beaches that will offer an unparalleled blend of luxury and eco-sustainable experiences.
Upon receipt of construction funding, CW plans to commence development. Stage One will be completed within (15) months of funding commencement and will include the Caribbean Villages, the United Caribbean University, and Xaragua Eco Resort projected opening within 24 months.
Caribbean World is a 50,000-acre ecological and sustainable mega complex designed to become one of the largest and most visited recreational resort geoparks in the world.
CW masterplan includes:
Caribbean World is a group of over 500 leading global private and public companies and institutions. Our member companies come from all business sectors and all major economies, including international hotels, airlines, cruise ships, and retail groups representing a combined revenue of more than US 4.5 trillion and 25 million employees. They come together with an idea and a burning desire to develop a tourist Eco-District that will benefit the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean region.
